Boel, Coryn (or Quirijn) (1635-1668)
"The Flute Player" Antwerp, mid-17th century. Matted with a total size of 9.5" h x 11.75"w (24.1 cm x 28.8 cm). Image alone is 3.75" h x 5.0" h (9.5 cm x 12.5 cm). Excellent condition and a very good impression.
This rare Dutch etching is of a street performer playing a flute with a beer stein at his left and, to his right, a box of coals which appears to have flames coming from the bottom of the box.
