Cover detached and with ragged edges; overall very good with slight soiling and a little foxing. Retains original cover but front only.The Rhapsodies, Op. 79, were written by Johannes Brahms in 1879. He dedicated them to inscribed to his friend, the musician and composer Elisabeth von Herzogenberg and it was she who suggested that Brahms rename the pieces "rhapsodies" as opposed to "Klavierstücke".
