Some foxing and transfer throughout, but clean on the whole. Binding worn.An early German translation of Clementi's first pedagogical publication, Introduction to the Art of Playing on the Piano Forte. The method fast became a staple in the didactic piano literature and enjoyed at least eleven editions and multiple translations in his lifetime. This particular translation is scarce.
