Henri Bertini was a French pianist and prolific composer of piano music. His clear and even playing style was a bit antiquated for its time, perhaps owing to early lessons with his brother, Auguste, who had been a pupil of Clementi. Although a respected performer, he was also celebrated as a teacher and left behind a large body of studies for his instrument.
