State Publishers: Moscow, 1982. Large folio (facsimile is an oblong folio). 26 pp. facsimile; 12 pp. commentary (in Russian, English, and German); 6 colored plates. Glossy wrappers in red silk slipcase. Overall excellent. Slight spot on top right corner of slipcase (from former label?).
The loosely inserted full-color illustrations are of six of the paintings by Victor Hartmann, which were the original inspiration for Mussorgsky's music.
