Russian LP with Signed Jacket.
May 6, 1967. 12" h x 12" w. In good condition. Signed paper LP jacket with tape along all edges and to some minor tears. Additional untaped tears at back. Nevertheless, a clean copy with a nice signature.A Russian LP, the jacket of which Richter has signed. Beneath the signature in a different hand is the date, and next to it someone has pasted a small black-and-white portrait of the pianist.
ODA-08879$250The LP is in mint condition and was made from a live performance given in Paris at the Palais Chaillot in October of 1961. Richter performs Haydn (Piano Sonata in Bb), Debussy (Four Préludes: Steps on the Snow, Interrupted Sererade, Cathédral Engloutie and Dance of Puck), and Prokofiev (Dream Fantasy, Op. 4, No. 4). Richter was a champion of Prokofiev's works, programming them often and even giving several premieres.
