Modern pink marbled paper boards with small gilt label at spine. Red edges. A crisp little volume in very good condition. Water stains to front matter and pp. 285-332. Title page a little spotted. Second plate with small abrasion at left (affecting background of image).
A sweet little book that begins with the libretto to Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia throughout which are interspersed eight charming engravings depicting various scenes of the opera. The remainder of the book contains stories and poems on various subjects. Nicely bound.
