After performing for Liszt and gaining his approval, Tividar Nachéz studied with Joseph Joachim and Hubert Léonard. A successful concert career followed, mostly based in England; Nachéz made his Crystal Palace debut in 1881 and performed before the British royals on multiple occasions. He also composed, transcribed, and/or arranged a number of works, mostly for violin, and wrote a handful of songs, including "Thoughts of You" in 1893.
