Fine.The French pianist writes to friends that I played the 5th Concerto of Saint-Saens three on three consecutive evenings in Kansas City. It was a premiere performance in this city!. It was warmly received. I am playing it again 2 times in December. Equally on the 2nd in Tulsa. For my recital in New York on Dec. 6 on the first half I put the sonatina of Ravel and the Tombeau de Couperin. You are with my in all these concerts!. She hopes her friends are well and signs with affection.
Darré toured both in Europe and the United States. She is known for her interpretations of the solo works of Chopin and Liszt but especially for the Saint-Saëns Concertos.
When she was 21, she played all five of the Saint-Saëns Piano Concertos in a single concert with the Concerts Lamoureux orchestra.
