Ant. Diabelli & Comp: Vienna. All engraved. Oblong quarto. All disbound. The set is in good condition overall. Thumb wear to most pages and occasional red/blue pencil markings throughout.
A set of eight operatic potpourris by Antonio Diabelli, including four arrangements on different material from Donizetti's Lucrezia Borgia and two on Verdi's Ernani. The above-listed information is applicable to all but the Otello potpourri (which is detailed below):

Lucrezia Borgia (Donizetti). Erstes Potpourri. [ca. 1839]. Pl.n 6823. 13 pp. Outer pages detached and quite worn; tape repair to several corners, not affecting.

Lucrezia Borgia (Donizetti). Zweites Potpourri. [ca. 1839]. Pl.n 6824. 13 pp. Occasional staining with tape repair to pp. 2 and 4, not affecting.

Lucrezia Borgia (Donizetti). Drittes Potpourri. [ca. 1839]. Pl.n 6825. 13 pp. Outer pages detached; occasional staining.

Lucrezia Borgia (Donizetti). Viertes Potpourri. [ca. 1839]. Pl.n 6826. 13 pp. Some staining to title page and tape repair to pp. 6-7, not affecting.

Ernani (Verdi). Erstes Potpourri. [Before 1846]. Pl.n 7954. 13 pp. Paper tape reinforcement to spine; title page with manuscript and torn at corner. Internally quite clean.

Ernani (Verdi). Zweites Potpourri. [Before 1846]. Pl.n 7955. 13 pp. Manuscript on title page. Internally quite clean.

Otello (Rossini). [Before 1821]. Vienna: Cappi und Diabelli. Pl.n 228. 3 pp. Heavily foxed with tape residue at spine.

I Puritani (Bellini). [ca. 1837]. Pl.n 6042. 11 pp. Detached. Title page with manuscript and extensive tape repair.
