Some smudges on WTC II title page, barely visible water stain on WTC I title page, otherwise very good.The two books of the WTC are bound in reverse order, WTC II followed by WTC I, according to the order of the publisher's plate numbers (217 for II and 218 for I).
MUS-07304$950The publisher, Antoine Henry Lemoine, was the son of a noted Paris publisher and made a name for the firm under his leadership from 1816 as one of the leading publishers of Chopin, as well as publishing instructional materials, including Berlioz's orchestration treatise.
