Cramer, J.B. (1771-1858)

Come Haste to the Wedding, adapted as a Rondo for the Piano Forte, in which is Introduced as an Andante, the favorite Air, of In My Pleasant Native Plains

Clementi, Banger, Hyde, Collard & Davis: London, [1806]. Pl.n: Milligan, p. 33. first edition (of rondo alone). Engraved. Quarto. 11 pp. Disbound and detached. A very clean and nice copy.
J.B. Cramer published his Op. 35, a set of three sonatas for piano, in 1805. This rondo is the third movement of the first sonata in that set. In December 1806, Clementi, Banger, Hyde, Collard & Davis published various movements from Op. 35 as works unto themselves; this is thus the first edition of the rondo as a free-standing piece.
