Trois Quatuors pour deux Violons, Alto & Violoncelle, Op. 16 Nos. 1, 2 and 3 Narrow large quarto. 16 pp.+2 pp. blank+12 pp.+1 p. blank+13 pp. Missing first violin part. In paper wraps with ovalized lithograph on title page and the name of the owner: G. F. Biller. Overall very nice and crisp; printed covers ratty along edges.
A handsome contemporary manuscript copy of Three Quartets being the first three quartets of what was published as a set of Six Quartettos for Two Violins, Tenor & Violoncello Composed & Dedicated to the King of Naples, Op. 23, as published by W. Forster in London, 1810 - see Benton 3509.
