A charming postcard issued by Puccini's publisher, Ricordi, to mark the premiere of Tosca, and boldly signed and dated by the composer less than two weeks afer the opera's premiere. Each act of Tosca is set in a real place in Rome. The card depicts a scene from Act I, in the church of Sant'Andrea della Valle, and shows Tosca's lover, Mario Cavaradossi, with the sacristan looking on. Handsomely matted and framed.
