Wurlitzer-Bruck is pleased to announce the addition of two sets of new inventory to our website and the addition of a new search feature.
- We have added twenty new items to our Gift Selection priced as low as $85, and including items autographed by Britten, Cowell, Kabalevsky, Gounod, Max Roach, Verdi, Smetana, Toscanini and Poulenc, as well as objets d’art relating to music, such as a charming 18th-century Italian majolica plate depicting a cherub playing an oboe, and a bookend in the form of a cellist from the noted J.B. Hirsch foundry. In addition there are notable books, such as Antonio Eximeno Y Pujades’ (1729-1808) Dell’origine e delle regole della musical colla storia del suo progresso, decadenza, e rennovazione (1774) and
a delightful book of children’s songs composed by Widor and illustrated by De Monvel. - We have recently added twenty-four new facsimiles (some of which have already sold since the list went up!) of manuscripts and editions of Bach, Beethoven, Donizetti, Haydn, Mozart, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and others. These include a stunning and very rare facsimile of Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, as well as unusual items such as a facsimile of a mass by Haydn that includes thematic material from his popular Creation, and an unusual set of reproductions of letters written in praise of Hans von Bülow.
- We have also enhanced our website’s search functionality by adding the capability to pull up a list of recent additions to the online catalog. A link to recent catalog additions will always appear on the main Search page.
In addition to the items we have listed on the website, we have many similar items in our inventory. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any inquiries you might have.
